Diamono de Fatick secures his first victory in Ligue 1 against Casa Sports

Last Saturday at the Stade Massène Sène in Fatick, Diamono de Fatick recorded its first victory of the season by beating Casa Sports by a score of 3-2 during the 9th day of the Ligue 1 championship, reports APS.

Thanks to this success, the Fatick club improves its points accumulation, now reaching seven points, which allows it to get closer to the middle of the table and move away from last place. For its part, Casa Sports, which suffered its second consecutive defeat, continues to struggle at the bottom of the ranking.

Among the highlights of the 9th day, two captivating matches are expected, namely the Dakar derby between Gorée and Jaraaf, as well as the AS Pikine classico against Tengueth FC. The Gorée Sports Union, which is currently positioned at the top of the ranking, welcomes the Médinese du Jaraaf on Monday at the Djagaly Bagayogo stadium in Grand Yoff.

Tengueth FC, which closely follows US Gorée, goes to the Alassane Djigo stadium for a clash against AS Pikine. The Pikinoise team, in bad shape with only one victory, four draws and one defeat, is seeking to escape the relegation zone by securing a second victory. Despite some poor performances, Tengueth FC hopes to remain in the top three, nourishing the ambition to regain its brilliant form from the previous season.

Sunday also offers exciting matches: at 4:30 p.m., HLM Dakar faces Linguère at the HLM municipal stadium, while USO challenges Oslo FA at the Ngor municipal stadium. Later, at 6:30 p.m., Génération Foot will face Dakar Sacré Coeur at the Lat Dior stadium in Thiès. Finally, the Djagaly Bagayogo stadium in Grand Yoff will be the scene, on Monday, of a confrontation between US Gorée and Jaraaf of Dakar at 4:45 p.m., indicates the APS.
