Obviously, talking about Cayden Primeau is not one of the favorite topics of the coach.
Before the match, Martin St-Louis was speaking to the media and he suddenly left the press conference after Simon-Olivier Lorange asked him a question about Cayden Primeau.
He replied this before leaving: “I am concentrating on coaches a game”.
Another journalist didn't even have time to say a word as St-Louis was already walking towards the exit.
And we even heard him say it at the end of the video above.
The coach is obviously very angry about the situation with the goalkeepers. However, it was a fairly innocuous question from Lorange. It wasn't a misplaced or out of place question, in my opinion. It must be said that the two men don't have the best relationship, but still.
Cayden Primeau's situation is starting to weigh heavily, not just for the media and fans. It's frustrating for St-Louis, which has been receiving the same questions for several weeks now. The American has not started a match since December 1.
Tonight, Samuel Montembeault, who will be in front of the net if you still haven't figured it out, will make a ninth consecutive start. Primeau came in for a few minutes in the December 12 match, but nothing more.
There are only two games left, including tonight's, before the holiday break. Don’t expect to see Primeau start Monday’s game in Columbus…
Will Jakub Dobes, who is returning to the game, be recalled when he returns from vacation? It's possible. My colleague Félix Forget also spoke about this possibility earlier today.
Prolongation
No changes will be made to the lineup for tonight's match.
