There's a good chance that Martin St-Louis will send the exact same lineup as yesterday into the fray tonight. It is only in front of the net that a question remains: normally, Cayden Primeau should get the net given that Samuel Montembeault played in yesterday's match, but the coach did not want to confirm anything on this subject in the last days.

The answer should be offered during the coach's pre-match press briefing early in the evening.

The Habs will nevertheless take to the ice in very good spirits, since the team has just won two victories in a row. Yesterday, the St. Louis men offered a convincing performance against the Wings, notably managing to direct more than 30 shots towards the opposing net for the first time this season in addition to overcoming a one-goal deficit in the third period.

And once again, it was the great Finn Patrik Laine who made the difference by scoring on the power play.

Acquired Wednesday evening in a transaction that sent Justin Barron to Nashville, Quebec defender Alexandre Carrier made a good first impression last night, forming a solid pair with Kaiden Guhle. The two men also seemed to like each other a lot.
