Hakim Ziyech has made his decision. After a complicated season with Galatasaray, where he was satisfied with only crumbs of playing time, the Moroccan international decided to leave the Turkish team, saying he regretted having joined in the first place.

Hakim Ziyech had a lot of things to say about his club, Galatasaray, and they are far from positive. In an interview relayed by the channel Sports Night DigitalZiyech reportedly said: “Galatasaray, it’s over for me.”

The Lion of the Atlas expressed his feelings, saying he was unhappy within the Istanbul club. “I’m not happy here and I don’t want to play anymore. I told everyone that I will leave in January”, he announces.

Regarding his regular absence from matches and unauthorized travel to the Netherlands, Ziyech added: “They don’t ask me anything anymore, so I do what I want. » A statement which reflects the state of his strained relations with the club’s management.

Asked about his opinion on the team’s coach, Okan Buruk, Ziyech did not mince his words, and violently attacked his coach whom he described as “weak”. “I have never seen a coach of such a poor level as Okan. “Remarks which illustrate the incompatibility between the player and the technical staff”, he says.

As for his expectations for the current season and the possibility of Galatasaray winning the championship, Ziyech responded with detachment. “I’m not interested… Leave me alone, no matter what happens.” I already regret coming here. I should have left at the start of the season, but they wouldn’t let me. I will leave in January.”

As a reminder, Hakim Ziyech joined Galatasaray at the start of last season from Chelsea on loan with a purchase option that the Turkish club had activated before the start of the current season. However, he has only played 320 minutes in all competitions since the start of the season.

The former Ajax Amsterdam star already has numerous offers under his belt since he is interested in several clubs including Olympiakos, Stade Rennais and even a club in Major League .
