Wally Daan’s victory (13 points) against Casa Sports allows him to move ahead of Jaraaf de Dakar (12 points), which however has two games in hand. Meanwhile, US Gorée, leader with 17 points, saw its streak of four consecutive victories interrupted at the Lat Dior stadium in Thiès.
Génération Foot, author of a complicated start to the season, took the lead thanks to a goal from Joseph Namatane (48th). But an own goal from Alassane Sy in the last quarter of an hour allowed Gorée to snatch a draw. Génération Foot remains 12th with 7 points.
At the Ngalandou Diouf stadium, the duel between Ajel Rufisque and US Ouakam ended in a draw. For its part, Sonacos worsened the situation of Linguère de Saint-Louis by beating it (1-0), thus plunging the team into the relegation zone.
