THE SPORT SCAN – The club has prepared a special installation for the Télévisions journalist in the stands who came to comment on the match between the RCT and Glasgow.

On Saturday, Matthieu Lartot was able to comment for France Télévisions on the Champions Cup clash between Club Toulonnais and Glasgow in ideal conditions. The journalist, who had his right leg amputated in 2023 following knee cancer, discovered before the meeting that the Var club had specially arranged his place as commentator alongside Dimitri Yachvili.

“Thank you to the club, to the town hall. Things are going in the right direction! Soon the elevator wrote the voice of rugby on public service channels on his X account. An initiative which could give ideas to other elite rugby clubs in order to provide access to the media stand for people with reduced mobility.

“Thank you Matthew @lartot for having highlighted (live on France 3) the effort of the club which set up a commentator booth adapted for PMR. Very classy!”replied the RCT community site.
