USM Alger won without question with a score of 3-0 against ASEC Abidjan for the third day of the Confederation Cup.
The USMA scares itself from the start with a missed pass from Alilet and an opponent who places a shot on the left post of Benbot (6th) but the red and black will quickly launch the machine and open the score ten minutes later with an own goal from Yabré put under pressure by Alli on a cross from Lamara (15′).
Very solid with the return of Mondeko in defense, the Algerians will score the second goal after a very good collective action which ends on a corner which played two behind and ends in the feet of the striker Belkacemi but the referee does not validate while he crossed the line. What does it matter, a minute later
Ghacha obtains a penalty which Belkacemi transforms (38th).
Just before half-time the ASEC goalkeeper miraculously saves in front of Alli on another cross from a burning Lamara.
In the second half Belkacemi scored his double after a ball was pushed back by the goalkeeper from Benzaza’s free kick (54′). The meeting will then be one-sided and Belkacemi could even have scored the hat-trick on a superb action if he had not touched his hand.
With 7 points the usmists will be able to travel to Abidjan with peace of mind in January.
