In Tuesday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Edmonton Oilers rocket took the opposing defense by surprise with his great speed and then beat goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy with a precise shot into the top of the net.

This goal gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead, who ultimately triumphed 2-1.
It was the 14the goal of the season for the 27-year-old striker, who is going through an excellent streak these days. After starting the season with only 10 points in 11 games, McDavid has scored no less than 28 points in his last 14 games.
Following their victory on Tuesday, the Oilers occupy third place in the Pacific Division with 34 points, one point ahead of the Vancouver Canucks.
