Standard de Liège has revealed its player of the month. Andi Zeqiri was rewarded.
Author of a good month of November, Zeqiri was named POTM by his club. This month, the Swiss scored three goals and provided an assist.
The Nati player notably started the month perfectly by scoring a double against Sint-Truiden. The following weekend, against La Gantoise, he was not decisive in Standard’s defeat against La Gantoise with a score of 5-0.
Upon his return from the international break with Switzerland, Zeqiri scored the only goal in Rouches’ victory against Cercle. Even if it has nothing to do with his reward of the month, it is interesting to note that during the break, the native of Lausanne scored his first goal with Switzerland in the Nations League against Spain.
Last weekend, he was decisive again against Charleroi. This time, he delivered an assist for Léandre Kuavita. It’s a month that the Liège player should remember.
