Bombshell at PSG: “Luis Enrique’s successor is already known”

PSG suffered a painful defeat at Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening (1-0). After being level with the Bavarians in the first half, the Parisians had to play the last 30 minutes of the match with 10 men following the expulsion of Ousmane Dembélé.

After five days, PSG only occupies 25th place in the League phase. After winning their first match against Girona, Luis Enrique’s team took a point against PSV then lost to Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and therefore Bayern Munich.

Luis Enrique is in danger

Even if PSG is still at the top of Ligue 1, the pressure is mounting on Luis Enrique. For the past year and a half, only Chelsea have spent more than the Parisian club on the transfer market. And for the moment, the results in the Champions League are far from convincing.

If the former Barça coach fails to reverse the trend during the last three days (Salzburg, Man City and Stuttgart), he could even fear dismissal.

PSG dreams of Zidane

His successor would even already be determined. Indeed, Fichajes reports that PSG could try their luck again for Zinédine Zidane. The former Real Madrid coach has been the Parisian club’s dream for some time, as he is an icon of French football and a successful coach.

Without a club since his departure from Real in 2021, Zidane is still waiting for the right project. It remains to be seen whether the Parisian club will manage to be more convincing than on previous occasions.
