The LHC bowed heavily in front of its public against HC Davos (2-6). The post-match is presented to you by our main partner, Vaudoise Assurances.

A good first third before the shipwreck

49 short seconds is the time it took Fabian Heldner to score his first goal of the season. The tall LHC defender found himself unusually alone on the right wing and had enough space to crucify Luca Hollenstein with a precise over-the-shoulder shot. A premature goal which had the merit of motivating our Lions who continued to project themselves into the offensive zone and put pressure on the Davos cage. With 12 shots on target to 5 in the first third, Geoff Ward’s men immediately set the pace of the match.

A good tempo that our players did not manage to maintain after returning from the locker room. In the space of six minutes, Josh Holden’s men scored four goals. A shipwreck which really hurt the people of Lausanne who completely collapsed, even conceding two goals while being in numerical superiority. Completely voiceless, the residents of the Vaudoise arena have never managed to get up and bow heavily before their audience.

A reaction to find before the trip to the Gottardo Arena

Rather consistent since the start of the season, the Lions are struggling at the end of November. The heavy setbacks are starting to come one after the other and this bad patch should not completely demoralize our squad. The situation is far from dramatic for the LHC, but it would be good to rectify the situation this Sunday when they travel to the Gottardo Arena against HC Ambri-Piotta.

In any case, the Lions can always count on the exemplary support of their supporters who have never given up even today. Thank you for your support, there is strength in numbers!

The evolution of the score
