The club expected sanctions. The LFP disciplinary committee, meeting this Wednesday, put the case under investigation after the incidents which occurred last Sunday at La Beaujoire, where the match between FC Nantes and Le Havre was interrupted twice. The LFP has nevertheless decided to close as a precautionary measure blocks S1D and S2E, i.e. the central block of the Loire stand, where the Loire Brigade gathers, for the next match against Rennes on Sunday December 7 at 5 p.m.

Last season, Beaujoire had already been put behind closed doors against Lyon on April 7. The LFP disciplinary committee had also sanctioned the Loire stand with two firm suspension matches (against Rennes and Lille) due to the use of pyrotechnic devices during the FC Nantes – Strasbourg match.
A match during which the Loire Brigade set off 281 smoke bombs. The ultra-Nantes group celebrated its 25th anniversary during this meeting. FC Nantes, whose supporters are not otherwise banned from traveling to Paris on Saturday, is also fined €15,000 for the use of pyrotechnic devices during Lens/Nantes in the Nantes parking lot.
