The LPHF published Tuesday evening the list of 16 players who were placed on waivers across the six teams on the circuit.
Posted at 8:07 p.m.
Clubs have until Wednesday, 3 p.m., to claim one or more players from the said list.
La Victoire placed three players on waivers, an attacker, Sarah Bujold, as well as two goalkeepers, Marlène Boissonnault and Tricia Deguire.
This means that attackers Alexandra Labelle, Gabrielle David and Dara Greig, defenders Anna Kjellbin, Catherine Daoust Kelly-Ann Nadeau and Anna Wilgren, as well as goalkeeper Sandra Abstreiter, are still part of the team for the moment .
Elsewhere in the League, two Quebecers find themselves on waivers: defender Maude Poulin-Labelle (Boston) and attacker Audrey-Anne Veillette (Ottawa). Poulin-Labelle was participating in the Fleet camp after playing 11 games with the Toronto Scepters last season. As for Veillette, 23, she did not play any matches with the Charge last season; she was part of the reserve team.
The six clubs must provide their final alignment before Wednesday, 5 p.m. This must include 23 players with a “standard” contract, in addition to three players with a reserve agreement.
Remember that the Victoire will play its first regular season match on Saturday, at 5 p.m., at Place Bell. The Ottawa Charge will be visiting.
