You said slack ?

Slacklining or slack (from the English “loose line”) is a sport similar to tightrope walking. It is distinguished by the use of an elastic polyester strap, as well as by the absence of a balance and stabilization of the strap. This one, called “slack”, is stretched between two anchors (trees, posts, climbing anchor points, etc.) using a system facilitating its tensioning, which allows it to be practiced in a natural or urban environment, or even indoors. The elastic and dynamic nature of slacklining invites you to progress in balance, but also to perform countless figures sometimes using rebound, which brings it closer to a long and narrow trampoline. This sport is linked to the practices of climbing, board sports, tightrope walking in the circus, or certain gymnastic apparatus such as the trampoline or the beam. It can also be used as a means of concentration.

The festival will take place above the pretty Régambert lake, 1.5 km from the village of Salles-sur-l’Hers. Come and try it out, admire the slackers, stroll in this enchanting setting or share the party atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, all levels can participate and participation is free.

Three mid-lines (remember to bring your harness, lanyards and something to climb up the rope (e.g. Jumar handle + Grigri); nine waterlines from 30 to 100m plus a mini waterline and a slack park for initiation and fun.
