FIFA unveiled its last ranking of the year this Thursday. Unsurprisingly, Belgium continues to fall and could quickly fall out of the top 10.
Argentina remains on the throne
Thanks to its victory against Peru and despite its defeat against Paraguay, Argentina ends the year 2024 in the lead. France, thanks to its draw against Israel and its victory against Italy, maintains its second place ahead of Spain.
England remains fourth and Brazil fifth. Behind, Portugal gained one place and is sixth just like the Netherlands who find themselves seventh.
Belgium loses two places
Belgium, because of its two defeats against Italy and Israel, lost two places and now finds itself eighth. Italy (9th) and Germany (10th) complete the top 10.
