Less than a week after being chosen by the Lakers in 55th position of the 2024 Draft, Bronny James has been waiting to find out what contract he will have in California. According to The Athletic, it will be a guaranteed multi-year deal, making him one of 15 players on the roster angeleno next season.
The son of LeBron James, who has not yet re-enlisted The Angelsfor example, could very well have received a “two-way contract” from his new management. Except that it is not going that way and, due to his status as a rookie drafted in the second round, the combo guard 19-year-olds can be signed for two, three or four years.
Regarding the salary, it is very free since there is no grid for players in the second round or even undrafted, and the former USC resident could therefore earn more than a first-round rookie! We imagine that this will not be the case, but it is part of the possibilities.
