Frenchman Kylian Mbappé teased Jan Vertonghen, who scored a decisive own goal at Euro 2024.

Kylian Mbappé and Jan Vertonghen clashed often last night during the clash between France and Belgium. The Frenchman had a tricky match, still managing to get away with some great flashes of brilliance. He also distinguished himself with a small altercation with Vertonghen, who lifted Mbappé after the Frenchman tried to get a penalty in the second half.
The two men then exchanged words, without it getting out of hand, even if the referee preferred to calm things down. At the very end of the match, it was Vertonghen who freed the Blues with an own goal on a strike from Kolo Muani. In the process, Mbappé rushed towards the Belgian defender to shout something in his face, as a goal celebration.
A gesture that has since been the talk of social media.
