In a recent statement, wrestler Gouy Gui expressed his disagreement with the way his rival Siteu fought, particularly during his fight against Modou Lo.
He said: “I don’t agree with his way of wrestling,” stressing that Siteu’s style and methods do not match his vision of wrestling. This position comes just a few hours after the defeat conceded by Siteu to Modou Lo by arbitration decision.

“And as he had promised during the face-to-face, he had to show bravery, show Modou Lo that he loved this fight as much as he did,” added Gouy Gui, referring to the expectations placed on Siteu before the fight. However, he expressed his displeasure with the escape strategy adopted by Siteu during the fight. “But leaving the enclosure at every opportunity, I do not agree, even if perhaps it was his staff who advised him to fight like this,” he clarified, suggesting that this wrestling style did not meet the standards he expected from a fight of this scale.
