The 2023-2024 season ended on the tatamis of the Carmausin Martial Arts Club in Blaye-les-Mines with the belt presentations.

A large majority of the licensees were able to demonstrate their progress in front of the teachers to obtain a higher belt with a 95% success rate! White-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue belts, and even a brown belt, were awarded to the great pride of the judokas and jujitsukas. The work pays off!

A look back at some of the highlights of a lively season:

Complete restoration of the Blaye dojo, located on Place Jean-Baptiste Héral,

Arrival of a new teacher in September, 5th dan black belt and state diploma,

Restructuring of time slots to offer 2 hours per week to children,

Numerous departmental medals and several regional qualifications,

An outing to Montauban to meet athletes from the French judo team,

Marie-Hélène, rewarded by the town hall of Blaye for her voluntary commitment over many years,

Presence of teachers at the sports festival and at the activities offered with the Augustin Malroux school.

The club thanks the municipalities, private partners, families and all its judokas for this great season and will offer free lessons in September to come and try all the activities.
