At the end of the season, the management team, members and former players of Football Club Triais met.

The FCT includes two senior teams, a first team and a reserve team. For the youngsters, there are five teams, the juniors, the cadet boys, the cadet girls, the minimes boys and the minimes girls. The youngest, for their part, attend the rugby school with 107 licensees and teams in each category ranging from babies (from 3 years old) to U12, for 10 to 12 year olds.

In short, the Triais club is a club full of life, which has, from the smallest to the largest, 215 players. The members of the club and the inhabitants of the territory are very proud to see them wearing the colors of Trie on the rugby fields on Saturdays and Sundays. This 2023-2024 season, the FCT can congratulate itself on having brought home 3 shields of local champions thanks to the first team, the reserve and the cadets of the Entente des Coteaux. Congratulations to the players, coaches and managers.

But the adventure did not end there, since the first team offered the club a rise to Regional 1. The season ended in the semi-finals of the Occitanie championship and in the 32nd of the French championship for the first, in the quarter-finals of Occitanie for the reserve and juniors, and in the eighth-finals of Occitanie for the cadets. All this in a superb atmosphere thanks to the many and loyal supporters who had donned the yellow and black colors to come and encourage their teams. The great news is that the volunteer and management team of the FCT is expanding. It wishes to continue this dynamic by a significant reinforcement of the management team, helped by many volunteers and former players. All came together to prepare the coming season in the best possible way. The club awaits many of you around the FCT field from the start of the school year in September!

At the same time, Adeline Barbaresco, co-president of the club with Didier Lagleyze, has just received a nice surprise. On June 22, during the general assembly of the Occitanie Rugby League, the silver medal of the French Rugby Federation was awarded to her. The members of the league “congratulate her for this richly deserved distinction, which testifies to your passionate and lasting commitment to the service of rugby”. This year, it has been 26 years since Adeline officially became head of the FCT, including 15 years with the rugby school.

A well-deserved distinction.
