Eugenie Bouchard is not playing in the Wimbledon tournament, whose main draw matches began on Monday, but that hasn’t stopped the Quebecer from making headlines… and turning heads in the process.

The American tabloid New York Post wrote a post Monday about photos the pickleball player (and former WTA world number five) posted to her Instagram account over the weekend.

The 30-year-old athlete is seen sporting a tiny green bikini (which, ironically, is reminiscent of the color of the Wimbledon logo). Under her post, it says “Sundays are for working in the yard.”

She is seen spraying herself with a garden hose and picking up dead leaves with a rake.

The sex-appeal you play tennis

The New York Post recalls in particular, in his article, Bouchard’s recent comments on the subject of tennis and the charm of some of its players.

On the microphone of the YouTuber Valeria Lipovetsky, Genie says he benefited from it early in his career.

“We wear short skirts, cropped tops. It’s fun to turn on the TV and watch that,” she said. Immediately [au début de ma carrière]I was able to get some advertising contracts off the field. I was asked a few times to pose in the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated

“It was one of my goals, to explore this path. It’s part of who I am, because I think it’s great.”
