PSG have made an important decision for the future of Fabian Ruiz.

The summer transfer window has been in full swing in France since its official opening on June 10. If all eyes are on Germany with Euro 2024, the elite clubs continue to prepare their squads for next season. This is the case of Paris Saint-Germain which, in addition to its desire to recruit this summer, wishes to clean up its workforce. The club has also just decided on the case of Fabian Ruiz, announced on departure.

The paradoxical transfer window of PSG

PSG is experiencing a more or less complicated transfer window this summer. Eager to strengthen itself during this transfer window, especially after the departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, the club is surprisingly struggling to convince on the market. Paris is notably being rejected in several cases and has only made official the arrival of Matvey Safonov as goalkeeper this summer.

However, things are moving in the other direction with the departures of Keylor Navas, Layvin Kurzawa, Alexandre Letellier and Sergio Rico, all at the end of their contracts. Furthermore, PSG has not finished cleaning up and wishes to release other players like Fabian Ruiz.

PSG to keep Fabian Ruiz

Despite 35 appearances in all competitions last season, Fabian Ruiz is far from convincing in the Parisian jersey. This contrasts with his dazzling form at the Euro with La Roja. In recent days, the Spanish international has been announced as leaving, like Milan Skriniar. According to reports, PSG would like to take advantage of his good performances in Germany to increase his market value while he still has three years left on his contract in the capital.

But Abdellah Boulma reveals a completely different version this Monday. According to the journalist, PSG have decided not to include Fabian Ruiz on the transfer list this summer. However, the former Naples midfielder would not be safe from a departure in the event of a substantial offer.
