Transfer window, PSG changes its mind for a highly coveted flop

Paris Saint-Germain takes everyone on the wrong foot for a player recruited last summer, and who did not convince.

Good news for a Parisian recruit from the last summer transfer window. Despite offers from the big names of the old continent, the club from the French capital has decided to keep its player in order to get the best out of him in the months to come.

PSG cleans up

As usual, Paris Saint-Germain will strengthen its team during this summer transfer window which opened its doors on June 10. To make way for new recruits, several players left the club. For the moment, these are players who have reached the end of their contract at the Parc des Princes.

We can cite, among others, Kylian Mbappé, who signed for Real Madrid a few weeks after officially announcing his departure, Keylor Navas, Layvin Kurzawa and Alexandre Letellier. But little effort has been made among the ranks of new recruits so far. The French champion club only managed to bring in one player, notably the Russian goalkeeper, Matvey Safonov. In addition, several who left on loan returned this summer. A new way out should be found for them.

Ugarte, PSG is not a seller

Recruited during the last summer transfer window for a check of 60 million euros from Sporting CP, Manuel Ugarte (37 TCC matches, 3 assists) did not convince too much at the Parc des Princes. But the Uruguayan midfielder arouses covetousness on the transfer market. Manchester United and another Premier League club are under the spell of the Montevideo native and the Mancunian club would have even sent a first offer.

Juventus Turin would also have a penchant for the Uruguayan international defensive midfielder (18 caps). But according to the latest information reported by The 10 SportPSG and Luis Enrique are counting on Manuel Ugarte. Indeed, the Parisian club does not want to sell the player this summer. The former Famalicao player is indeed part of the Parisian project for next season.
