Since the start of the works and its upgrade last February, the Al Qods Sports Park, known as “Goodyear”, has been a construction site in perpetual transformation. Every day, dozens of workers are busy bringing life back to this space which, for years, has served as a place of relaxation and walking for the inhabitants of Sidi Bernoussi.

To date, 70% of the project has already been completed, with a finalization date set for the end of July. This is confirmed by Saïd Sabri, president of the district of Sidi Bernoussi, in a statement for Le360The park, already appreciated for its green spaces and sports facilities, is undergoing a transformation that will position it as a pillar of community and sporting life in the region.

«This is one of the most popular places for locals. There are beautiful green spaces where children can play safely. The sports areas are well equipped, which will attract many amateur sportsmen. From what I see, the benches are well distributed. I think that more should be added to Sidi Bernoussi so that more people can enjoy them.“, shares one resident.

Another local resident added: “This park is a real gem in Sidi Bernoussi. What I like the most is the different sports options available. Whether it’s a morning jog or a game of football and basketball with friends, there will always be something to do. The spaces are clean and well-organized. It’s a great place to relax while staying active. Children will surely love coming here to play and play sports.”
