His club third in Ligue 1 but in doubt after the recent statements of his coach Roberto De Zerbi, Pablo Longoria spoke of OM’s ambitions over the next three years. In an interview given to Corriere della Sera the president of the club details a “relaunch project” contrary to that of the Parisian rival.

OM in doubt

“The objective is to become the anti-PSG”says Longoria, who recalls that“in the meantime, we are the only French team to have won the Champions League”.

Before the international break, OM went on to a third consecutive match without a victory at the Stade Vélodrome. After being held in check by (1-1), the Marseille club lost heavily against PSG (0-3) then against (1-3). A final defeat which shook Marseille, with the strong words of De Zerbi.

“I have to take responsibility for this defeat at homesaid the Italian technician at a press conference. If I’m the problem, I’m good to go. I’m leaving without the money, the rest I don’t care. I don’t want to make excuses and talk nonsense. I’m not going to escape, we have to face reality. This is what I have to do. »
