The Confederation of African Football (CAF) should announce in the coming weeks the details relating to the draw of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025).
The pots will be determined based on the world ranking of the International Football Federation (FIFA).
While waiting for the official announcement of CAF, “Foot Africa” anticipated by setting the probable pots, in accordance with the November FIFA ranking, published by the specialized site « football-ranking ».
Pot 1: Morocco (14th), Senegal (18th), Egypt (33rd), Algeria (37th), Ivory Coast (45th) and Nigeria (46th).
Pot 2: Cameroon (49th), Mali (52nd), Tunisia (53rd), South Africa (57th), DR Congo (62nd) and Burkina Faso (66th).
Pot 3: Gabon (84th), Angola (85th), Zambia (87th), Uganda (88th), Equatorial Guinea (93rd) and Benin (94th).
Pot 4: Mozambique (96th), Comoros (103rd), Tanzania (106th), Sudan (113th), Zimbabwe (121st), Botswana (137th).
