The Lamborghini adventure in the WEC will, for the moment, have only lasted one year. The Italian brand, whose partnership was established with Iron Lynx in Hypercar and GT, will desert the world championship, to concentrate on the American championship. Certainly, Iron Lynx remains in action for the Hypercar, but in GT, there is no longer any question of doing so. In 2025, the Italian team will be associated with Mercedes. However, for the Iron Dames, closely linked to Iron Lynx, the effort will be different. Thus, the 100% female crew, made up of Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Célia Martin, will be at the wheel of a Porsche 911 in the world championship. Now categorized as Silver, Sarah Bovy is absent from the line-up.

The car will be operated by Manthey Racing, a team which, with its Porsche 911, won the GT3 title, after dominating the season. It is an honor to participate again in the World Endurance Championship which is the absolute benchmark for global endurance races, explains the boss, Deborah Meyer. Returning to Porsche and collaborating with Manthey represents a new step for the Iron Dames. I have full confidence in their expertise and dedication to excellence, which perfectly matches our ambition to shine at the highest level. Our 2025 workforce made up of Michelle, Rahel and Celia represents both continuity and innovation as well as transmission between generations, a value at the heart of the project. I am proud of what we have accomplished so far and confident in what lies ahead. We are committed to writing a new chapter in the history of Iron Dames endurance racing, demonstrating that women have their rightful place at the top of the sport, inspiring generations to come.
Nicolas Raeder, general director of Manthey Racing, is satisfied with partnering with the Iron Dames in the WEC next year. We have always admired the project and have had many exciting but fair duels with them on the track in the past. We believe this is a great opportunity to develop together and reach a new level with our endurance experience and the tireless efforts of the Iron Dames. We are looking forward to the 2025 season and being able to bring a Porsche in pink to the starting grid.
