Discover the sporting performances of the different teams as well as the highlights of last weekend in Beaumont-de-Lomagne (Tarn-et-Garonne).

On the junior side: The under-19s snatch a thrilling victory after a tough confrontation with stubborn opponents, winning 35 to 24 thanks to two tries from Paul Martinet and Marlon Groc in the last minutes of play. The Lomagnols confirm their second place behind the Entente BCTR-, undefeated to date.

On the cadet side: neck and neck with the opponent of the day, the mission seemed almost impossible for the Beaumontoises given the impressive results of their opponents who inflicted scores exceeding 80 points. The Lomagnoles shine in a remarkable first third before their opponents regain the advantage, 19 to 20. The locals found the resources to turn the match around and win 29 to 27, in front of an increasingly numerous audience every weekend, came to support the young teams.

Moving : the solidarity and support of the juniors at the end of their meeting, with a guard of honor for the cadets who were preparing to play for first place in the group. A memorable moment testifying to the cohesion and harmony between the groups.

On the side of the reserve team: after having resisted a good part of the match, hanging on to a 13 to 3 which could have allowed a comeback for the Beaumontois, the locals took a much greater advantage at the end of the match. Final score: 34 to 3.

As for the first team: this meeting on Gers soil is reminiscent of that of Gimont where the Beaumontois saw their victory slip away at the end of the match. At Lombez, Mathieu Damiot’s players missed their chance, their numerical inferiority offering their opponents the decisive opportunity to score. The Beaumont team fought well even though the group had been modified due to numerous absences. Prop Thomas Ourliac, called upon to double, was injured during the reserve team’s match. Last minute blow, Heligon having to hold on to his limits.
