Jimmy Gressier withdraws from the European Cross Championships

He hadn’t left much room for doubt. Winner on Sunday of the cross-country selection for the European Championships (Antalya, December 8) in Allonnes, Jimmy Gressier had suggested that his presence in Türkiye was very hypothetical. After a discussion with his coach Adrien Taouji, the 13th of the Olympic Games over 10,000 m confirmed his choice and the Euro cross, where he has so often shone (three titles in hopefuls, a bronze medal in seniors), will be done without him.
