Marseille supporters finally saw their future coach set foot on the tarmac in the Bouches du Rhône region. After several weeks of negotiations, Roberto De Zerbi will be the future coach of OM.
After a failed season for the Olympians and an eighth place finish, the Marseillais endured a very eventful season. Pablo Longoria hired three different coaches to get Marseille back afloat, an instability which did not allow Olympique de Marseille to qualify for the Champions League. Worse still, Marseille will not play any European Cup next season, a situation which does not allow Marseille to attract players of caliber to register in the long term. Additionally, with the arrival of the new coach, the team will once again be reshuffled to match the tactician’s style of play. Longoria will have to use his address book to find quality players next season.

The man for the job ?
With the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi, Marseille has secured the services of a coach of European caliber. With De Zerbi, the Olympian ambitions take on a whole new dimension to return to the highest level in the championship.
