In Fred-Aubert, the City of Saint-Brieuc is not necessarily excited about the lawn. Discussions are underway to play at Roudourou, the En Avant stadium in Guingamp, on the weekend of November 30 and December 1.

Where will the match in the 8th round of the Coupe de France be played between AS Ginglin-Cesson Saint-Brieuc, a resident of Regional 1, and FC Rouen, a National club? One thing is certain, it will not be at the Stade de l’Europe, Ginglin’s usual home ground. The French Football Federation confirmed this Tuesday, November 19 that this was not possible.
An elevator return?
The City of Saint-Brieuc is not necessarily excited about the idea that this meeting will be played at Fred-Aubert on Sunday 1is December. Because Stade Briochin will host Saint-Malo on Friday November 29, also in the Coupe de France. And given the weather conditions forecast for the coming days, the lawn could deteriorate considerably.
Playing in Rouen is not possible, according to the Ginglin club which would like to play at Roudourou. En Avant Guingamp will play in Dinan on Saturday November 30, so the stadium will be free. “It’s the No. 1 choice, provided that it’s free for us, considering that the girls from Guingamp (from the Sacré-Cœur high school in Saint-Brieuc) occupy our field every week”we tell Ginglin.
The Costa Rican club is now awaiting the result of the discussions between the two towns of Guingamp and Saint-Brieuc.
