We now know a little more about the International Sports Car championship which is due to start at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026. The unique prototype used will be the Nova NP02 found in the Ultimate Cup Series.

It is therefore a new playing field which opens up to the prototype designed in the Pyrenees at Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre by Guillem Roux, Norbert Santos and Camille Gautré Santos. The Nova Proto brand follows Norma.

Since its commissioning, more than 30 Nova NP02s have been assembled, with the recent introduction of Zylon anti-intrusion panels. The promoter has chosen a financially affordable prototype that appeals to all types of pilots, from gentlemen to professionals.

The International Sports Car version of the Nova NP02 will include high downforce kit and the option of having ABS. The approval of the car is 5 years (3 + 2 with a possible Evo version).

Announced last week, the International Sports Car championship highlights countries in a franchise system that allows teams to showcase themselves in the competition. The calendar must include five events with two 90-minute races for two-person crews.

The series will run in the Gulf countries and the Asia-Pacific region during the winter. Thus, ISC makes it possible to bring together drivers who race in other championships the rest of the year.
