For the Landes derby counting for the 11th day of Pro D2, the Dax and Mont-de-Marsan clubs had things big: a relocation to the Jean-Dauger stadium, home of Aviron Bayonnais, resident of Top 14.
Seven opponents eliminated
On the meadow, the suspense was short-lived as the Dacquois dominated their Mons neighbors. Yet hooked at the start of the match, US Dax accelerated from the 20th minute, scoring two tries in five minutes and delivering a 17-0 to Mont-de-Marsan to take the lead at the break (20-3 ). But ten minutes from time while USD led by 15 points (26-11), Dacquois center Noah Nene lit up the game with a superb try. Starting from his 40 meter line, the player on loan from Stade Français went up the entire field, eliminating 6 opponents while resisting the last defender just before flattening in the Mons in-goal. An achievement which sealed the victory of US Dax.

With 26 points on the clock, the Landes team returns to 8th place in the Pro D2 ranking dominated by Grenoble (1st, 36 pts) and Montauban (2nd, 35 pts).
