Kick-off was at 3:30 p.m. The first quarter of an hour, we deplore a lot of technical waste. The two teams observe each other.

The midfielders are maneuvering to establish a hold on the game. The battle is fierce without any real superior possession from either team. In the 16th minute, the Samaritaine had an opportunity, but the post saved Racing.

In the 20th minute, captain Josephin Florian Goma was injured. He is replaced by Joris Cadol. The refereeing trio takes the heat into account and grants a cool break around the 25th minute.

The pace drops, the players seem to be suffering the blow and this riot of energy of the first minutes. The game is disjointed, this does not discourage the supporters of the two camps who respond to each other.

Before half-time, a new opportunity offered itself for the Samaritan. Gabriel Bilon escapes the Josephine defense but misses his shot which Emmanuel Vermignon easily catches. In the 40th minute, Samaritaine central defender Nicolas Zaire left with an injury. Malick Leopoldie returns.

Immediately, in the 44th minute, Alex Balmy opened the scoring, heading in a cross from the left sent by Gabriel Bilon. The Samaritaine leads 1 to 0. Two minutes of additional time are granted but the score remains as it is at half-time, the Samaritaine takes the lead.

The 2nd half starts again without a change of players and with many stoppages following injuries and free kicks. In the 58th minute, while the game was without intensity, Stéphane Abaul, the central defender of the Samaritaine, procrastinated even though he had plenty of time to clear his side. Jiovanie Barba steals the ball from him, pushes aside the Samaritan goalkeeper and equalizes, 1 goal everywhere.

In the 65th, Samaritaine scorer Alex Balmy comes out just like Gabriel Bilon. The Samaritaine brought out its most dangerous attackers, undoubtedly due to physical problems.

Until the 80th minute, nothing to eat, the public was bored, a lot of stoppages in play due to fouls and injuries. The rhythm is broken.

As we got closer to the end of regulation time, a free kick 20 meters from the Samaritaine’s goal was majestically converted by Sébastien Crêtinoir 2 to 1 for RC Saint-Joseph. This is the final score.
