Reigning European and Spanish champions, the Barcelona women built their great success thanks to a double from Patricia Guijarro (4th, 22nd), before Claudia Pina (39th) and Alexia Putellas (86th) sealed the score on the lawn of the Afredo di Stéfano stadium, which broke its attendance record during this meeting with 5,210 spectators.
This is the tenth victory in as many league matches for Barça, well in the lead with 30 points, ahead of Real (22 points).
On October 26 in the Men’s Liga, the Catalan club won 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The Blaugrana are also at the top of the championship with 33 points against 27 for Real.
