Their day of glory has arrived. The players of FC Serquigny-Nassandres (FCSN)amateur team of the championship Regional 2 in Normandy, face the professionals of theForward Guingampa Ligue 2 club, as part of the seventh round of the Coupe de France.
Five levels separate the two adversaries. Suffice it to say that this Saturday, November 16, 2024, is “the match of a lifetime” for Serquigny-Nassandres, two municipalities in Eure with 2,000 inhabitants each. Never in its history has the FCSN faced opposition of this level.
And it is in a sold-out stadium that the meeting will take place, in Lisieux (Calvados), from 6:30 p.m. The approximately 1,900 tickets put on sale quickly found takers.
