Holder of a Master’s degree in sports journalism, I fell in love with tennis since childhood and have always loved reading the great stories of this sport. Today, I want to tell them about them, take full advantage of my passion and be as close as possible to the aces of the circuit.

OM central defender, Jonathan Clauss has become a reference in French football over the last two years. With 13 selections, the former Lensois, already absent from the last World Cup, has not yet had the chance to come into play in this Euro 2024 even if he is part of the list. For the French team’s third match, against Poland, Didier Deschamps could therefore make some changes since the Blues are almost sure of being qualified.

While his club future is a little uncertain, Jonathan Clauss wants to focus onEuro 2024 and he still hopes to make his debut on the field. At 31, he has not yet had the chance to play a match in a major tournament and at a press conference, he wanted to send a message to his coach.

Clauss has long teeth

Even though it seems complicated, Jonathan Clauss keeps the hope of playing with theFrance team for the third match against the Poland Tuesday evening. “No one told me anything. I’m waiting for the team composition like all the other players. There are 25 of us who want to play. We are preparing, we are all waiting. We are focused on qualifying. No problem staying on the bench if the qualifier is at the end” he declared at a press conference on Sunday.

No surprises for Deschamps?

If France is in excellent condition to qualify for the round of 16, the objective is of course to obtain first place in the group according to the words of Didier Deschamps. This therefore means that a priori, there would not necessarily be any major changes in the composition before the Poland. More Jonathan Clauss reminded that he was ready just in case.
