Olympic Games oblige, the disability day organized every year by the disability delegation of the city of Cahors will be on the theme of sport and disability. It will take place on Thursday, December 5 and like every year it will take place on the ground floor of the association center and at the sports center.

Wednesday, November 6, the team of teachers from the Lycée des Territoires du Montat and the dedicated municipal team, Noëlle Boyer, deputy mayor in charge of disability, Jean-Marc Lagarde, the city’s disability referent, and Eric Lucianaz from the Grand Cahors sports department. , met final year SAPAT (service to people and territories) students at Montat.

These young people will participate in the organization of the day by accompanying the students to the different stands. The day is intended to raise awareness among CM and BTS students about disabilities.

This year, 15 workshops will be offered with a focus on sport, led by numerous partners, some new and others older. Some examples, faithful like the Marthe Robin de Gramat home and its orchestra, the Cahors hearing aid school, Michel Darnaud who will lead a philosophy workshop on the theme of sport and disability, the APF Handicap which will offer the boccia workshop. The highlight of the day is the armchair rugby league match which will take place at the Palais des Sports at 8 p.m.

Entrance will be free and open to all. There are still places to register for afternoon classes. Teachers who wish to register their class must call 06 09 50 32 18.
