GHANA will not be part of the CAN 2025, which will take place in Morocco in 2025. Held in check by Angola, during this fifth day of the CAN 2025 qualifiers, the Black Stars, last in their group, saw their hope of qualifying for the next CAN disappear.
This is a great disillusionment for Ghana, which will watch the next CAN 2025 at home. Housed in Group F with Angola, Sudan and Niger, Mohamed Kudus’ Ghana was unable to do well, in a group that was within their reach.

After five matches in these CAN 2025 qualifiers, Ghana recorded 2 defeats and 3 draws. With 3 points on the clock, the African Champions 1963, 1965, 1978 and 1982 cannot qualify for the 2025 African Cup. Angola with 13 points has already validated its ticket for the CAN in Morocco. Sudan with 7 points left to take the second ticket in group F.
This is the first time since 2004 that the Black Stars have not qualified for the CAN. A big disappointment for Kudus, the West-Ham player, who will miss the biggest African competition.
