As for Ligue 1, the ranking of which we observed earlier on Sportsthe French Football Federation (FFF) published its annual ranking of the most successful Ligue 2 training centers for the 2023-2024 season. Eleven clubs have an evaluation out of the 20 that made up the championship (there will only be 18 in the future).
The Girondins remain first and ASSE second
The analysis, under the leadership of the National Technical Directorate, was based on five key criteria and subcategories for each: the professionalization of young people, their playing time in the first team, national selections, academic success and European representation.
Already in the lead the previous season, the Girondins de Bordeaux retain their title of best training club in Ligue 2, with 3.5 stars overall. And like the previous season, the marine club is ahead of AS Saint-Etienne in second place while this season Valenciennes completes the podium to the detriment of Le Havre a year earlier, which is now playing in Ligue 1.
