Club Med has officially opened professional and recreational pickleball courts at its upscale Caribbean Resorts. This expansion is part of the growing popularity of pickleball. This fastest growing sport in North America is dynamic, easy to learn and accessible to all ages. To celebrate this milestone, Club Med recently hosted an exclusive pickleball workshop in Montreal, Canada, in collaboration with Tennis star Eugenie Bouchard and attended by local pickleball enthusiasts and content creators.
Known for her Grand Slam success and ranking among the top five in the world, Bouchard is the first Canadian player to reach the final of a major singles tournament, finishing runner-up at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. She also won a singles title on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour in Nuremberg in 2014, and recently began her professional pickleball career as an official player on the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour. Bouchard continues to pass on his passion for pickleball by bringing his competitive energy to the courts with Club Med.
