Former Red Devil, Philippe Albert rarely has his tongue in his pocket when it comes to talking about our national team. He is campaigning for the selection of a Pro League player.
Domenico Tedesco recently revealed its roster for the upcoming Nations League matches. As usual, this list gave rise to a lot of discussion.
Philippe Albert considers that Tedesco should think about calling up a Pro League player: Charles Vanhouttewho impresses under the colors of Union Saint-Gilloise.
“When we see that Vermeer et Savings Pool are taken back… this guy has been working for a year and a half and he has nothing in return, we ignore him,” Albert declared on the set of The Tribune.
“He understands things quickly and he plays simple. For the moment, he is the conductor of the Union,” continued the former Red Flame Cécile De Gernier.
This Sunday at a press conference after the superb victory against Genk, the Union coach Sébastien Pocognoli was very complimentary of Vanhoutte, declaring that he had played “at an extraordinary level”.
