THE SPORT SCAN – A week after the São Paulo Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas did not rest. The Finnish pilot decided to compete in an Ironman at home.

He is unstoppable. Already noticed for having participated in the Gravel Worlds in Belgium, Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas has once again shown that he has more than one string to his bow. At home, the Finnish driver from the Sauber team had fun carrying out an XXL triathlon in his house. More than a giant triathlon, it is actually an Ironman which consists of achieving long distances in three disciplines.

So, he did 3.8 kilometers of swimming in his pool, 180 kilometers of exercise cycling and 42.2 kilometers on a treadmill. All in 10h59 (1h05 for swimming, 5h29 for cycling and 4h23 for the marathon) very satisfactory figures which he published in detail on his social networks a week after the last Grand Prix in São Paulo.

Concerning his main discipline, Formula 1, Valtteri Bottas could soon end his career, at 35 he will find himself without a team for the 2025 season. His team Sauber (future Audi) has not renewed his contract and that of his partner Zhou.
