Daniil Medvedev dominates Alex de Minaur in his second ATP Finals match

Two days after having mentally cracked during the opening match of the ATP Finals against Taylor Fritz (6-4, 6-3 defeat), Daniil Medvedev showed a completely different face against Alex de Minaur. Concentrated, involved and rigorous, the Russian won in two sets (6-2, 6-4) against the Australian who appeared as quickly overwhelmed as in his first match lost 6-3, 6-4 against the world No. 1, Jannik Sinner. By completing the affair in two sets, Medvedev opens the door to the semi-finals for Fritz: a victory against the Italian this Tuesday evening, in the rematch of the US Open final, would automatically qualify the Californian for the last four of this Masters.
