Infirmary: The FFF confirms Dembélé’s injury and withdrawal

Hit in the right thigh against on Saturday, Ousmane Dembélé had his injury noted at Clairefontaine this Monday by the Blues doctor and is forfeited for the team rally. Didier Deschamps decided to replace him with former Parisian Kingsley Coman.

Ousmane Dembélé will be able to receive treatment in during the international break. The PSG winger, who had been called up by Didier Deschamps for the two League of Nations matches against Israel (November 14) and Italy (November 17), had to withdraw after injuring his thigh right in Angers last Saturday, as revealed earlier by RMC Sport.

Coman replaces Dembélé, injured in the right ischio

In a press release published this Monday, the FFF confirms that Dembélé has “felt pain in the right ischio on Saturday against Angers” and had to forfeit after having made “noting his injury by the Blues doctor, Franck Le Gall” and having spoken with coach Didier Deschamps, who decided to leave him available to his club.

Spared by muscular injuries since his arrival at PSG in the summer of 2023, with the exception of a small scare with his hamstrings at the end of 2023, Dembélé will not take any risks during the break, which is necessarily good news for the club before its very important match against Bayern Munich on November 26 in the Champions League.

Ironically, it is also a Bayern winger, in the person of Kingsley Coman, who replaces Dembélé with the Blues.
