The Canadian is in Buffalo to face the Sabers this afternoon and will try to end a streak of six consecutive defeats and 10 defeats in his last 12 games.

As we reported to you earlier, the head coach Martin St. Louis decided to stir things up and reshuffle his trios in preparation for the meeting.

Thus, St. Louis made the decision to separate its duo from Nick Suzuki et Cole Caufield. Suzuki will rotate today the first trio in the company of Kirby Dach et Juraj Slafkovsky while Caufield will find himself on the second trio alongside Jake Evans et Alex Newhook.

A decision that certainly provokes reactions.

Moreover, the captain agreed to comment on the situation.

Martin wants to stir the soup, I guess. He always told us that he and Vincent Lecavalier were also separated from time to time in Tampa Bay so I’m sure we’ll get back together eventually. But if the two trios work well, who knows?

– Nick Suzuki

It will be interesting to see if this drastic change will be enough to revive the Canadian who this morning occupies alone the 32nd and last place in the general ranking in the NHL, being the only team in the league to not yet have won five victories.

It is with a record of 4-9-2 for 10 points in 15 games that the CH arrives in Buffalo to face the Sabers and their record of 7-7-1 and their 15 points in 15 games.
