Alexandro Calut was back in the eleven against La Gantoisee. But he will be out for at least six weeks.
It has been more than two years sinceAlexandro Calut had no longer started a Pro League match with Standard. Yesterday, he joined the team at the last minute, Henry Lawrence being ill.
In the first half, he was seriously shaken by contact with Noah Fadiga. If the latter suffered the delayed blow by collapsing a few moments later, it was initially Calut who seemed the most stunned.
He had to give up his place at half-time, proof that the shock was not trivial. This was confirmed this afternoon: according to Sudinfo, he dislocated his shoulder.
The infirmary is already full
This should keep him away from the field for at least six weeks. Yet another hard blow for Ivan Lekowho already had to deal with several absences in his defense (besides Lawrence, David Bates, Boli Bolingoli and Nathan Ngoy were also unavailable).
For Alexandro Calut, this is also a new setback. The 21-year-old defender returned to the field at the start of the season after a very serious injury which did not allow him to play a single minute during his loan to Louvain last season.
