Scottish club Glasgow Rangers are expected to announce the signing of Hamza Igamane in the coming days at Ibrox, according to the Daily Record.
Team manager Philippe Clement is keen to strengthen his attacking options this summer, following the departure of Kemar Roofe and uncertainty around Sam Lammers’ long-term future at Ibrox and sees Igamane as an ideal successor.
The Moroccan should therefore join the Scottish team for the sum of 2 million euros after an agreement with his club, AS FAR which accepted this offer.
Although the amount has already been agreed between the two clubs, the AS FAR striker still needs to undergo a medical to finalize his transfer after missing his team’s recent matches due to injury.
The 21-year-old has had a fine season, scoring 7 goals in 23 games for FAR, who qualified for the Champions League after narrowly missing out on the Botola Pro title to Raja Casablanca. I
Igamane has six caps for Morocco U23 and is expected to take part in the Paris Olympic Games next July/
