In the opening match of this 2024 Masters, Taylor Fritz took advantage of Daniil Medvedev’s frayed nerves to win in two sets (6-4, 6-3) and 1h20. However, nothing seemed to predispose the Russian to go off the rails as he did in a pitiful way, unworthy of his status and the Masters tournament in which he is participating for the sixth time in his career.
