The Malian coach Eric Chelle got off to an encouraging start with the MC Oranrecording three consecutive victories which propelled the team to second place in the Algerian championship with 14 points, just one length behind the leader, the CS Constantine.

Chelle successfully met the challenge by instilling a new dynamic and a fighting spirit into his team, leading the “Hamraoua” to three victories out of five matches, including an important victory againstES Setif (1-0). The team also conceded a draw against Paradou AC and a defeat against the MC Alger.

At 46 years old, Chelle spoke in the media, expressing his admiration for the level of the Algerian championship and expressed the wish to see this competition better publicized in Europe and internationally.
